League Rules
Welcome to the Fantasy Poker Leagues! Please read and follow the league rules to ensure fair play and an enjoyable experience for everyone.
1. Eligibility
To participate in our leagues, players must meet the following requirements:
- Players must be at least 18 years old.
- Players must have a valid email address and a verified account.
- Players must be residents of a jurisdiction where participation is legal.
2. League Setup
The league structure and rules may vary depending on the league selected. Some key points to keep in mind:
- Each league will comprise of teams created by our Users; a User can create multiple teams. The number of players drafted for any team will be stated in the contest rules… can be anywhere from 1 to 8 players.
- The league will be open to contestants until the stated date and time when the league will close. The league will close prior to the start of the first poker tournament that is included in the contest.
- League entry fees will be stated for every contest. The entry fee will be used to establish the prize pool; with 85% percent of the entry fee as the prize pool for the stated contest. There will be a 5% bank/funding charge, and a 10% administrative fee to manage the contests.
3. Scoring and Points
Each tournament in the league is scored according to the following rules:
- All contests will announce how the points will be scored. Most contests will award a point for a drafted player on the Users team that cashes in the poker tournament, a point for making a final table of 6 players, and a point for cashing and lasting the longest among all the players drafted on teams by the Users.
- Users draft players on their team, and then points are awarded to the drafted poker player based on where that poker player finished in the poker tournament. The team with the highest cumulative points for every drafted player on the Users team will win the contest.
4. Tournament Rules
Each tournament may have different rules based on the format:
- All players must play within the rules set by the tournament organizer.
- Any form of cheating, including the use of unauthorized devices or assistance, will result in disqualification.
- Late entries are not allowed once the tournament starts.
5. Team Management
Each team is managed by a captain and can include a set number of players. Team captains are responsible for:
- Managing the team's lineup.
- Ensuring all players in the team are eligible and comply with league rules.
- Updating player details as necessary.
6. Prize Distribution
The prize pool will be distributed among the top teams according to their final standings:
- First place: 50% of the total prize pool
- Second place: 30% of the total prize pool
- Third place: 20% of the total prize pool
7. Code of Conduct
We expect all players to maintain a high level of sportsmanship. Any offensive behavior, harassment, or violation of the code of conduct will result in penalties or disqualification.
